Hi I’m Maheshika Peiris.

Whimsical Connotations started as a way for me to feel like myself again.

What began quietly during early motherhood slowly became a space where I could write, dream, create, and reconnect with the parts of me that existed beyond routine and responsibility.

Over time, this little creative outlet unexpectedly opened doors, shaped my path, and reminded me how powerful creativity can be when we allow ourselves to follow it.

Being back in Sri Lanka after nearly a decade in Europe made me realize how much I wanted this space to evolve into something more…

A space for women who want more meaning, less noise.
